Thanks for the hot coupon tips Erin. I never leave home without them!
how many boxes did you buy and how many coupons did you use
I didn't buy any personally since I won't get cereal unless it is FREE, lol.
My guess is you could use 4 mfg coupons and 1 Target coupon so end up paying about $2 for 4 boxes after coupons (depending on the coupons used)
Not too bad of a deal.
18.2-oz. Raisin Bran Crunch, 12-oz. Special K Red Berries, 17-oz. Frosted Flakes and selected others $2.66
$2.66x2=$5.32 -(1) $1TQ & -(2) $1 MFQ =$2.32 for 3 boxes =$.77 a box.
actually your math is off, you need to add one more box. buy 3 get one free. so $2.66 x 3 then minus your coupons.
I did go and look at the cereals at our Target and most were around $2.98 for the special K, frosted mini wheats and frosted flakes.
A caveat on the Target printable coupons - you may not be able to use them in your area. I put in my zip code and found that there were no stores in 100 miles where I could use them.
It's because it is a Super Target Q and probably the only targets in your area are regular targets. They should still accept the Q though.
Targets in Houston (the last two I went to) are now offering a nickel off your transaction by using a reusable bag. (I'm not sure if its 5cents per bag or per transaction). Won't save you tons but every little bit adds up so make sure you bring your bags and remind the cashier!
Ooops, your right my math was off, thanks.
