As you may or may not have noticed I have not been doing much grocery shopping at all. I am hoping to stretch the remaining balance of my $800 budget until the end of the year.
But being that the holidays are creeping up I have had my eyes out for great deals for the girls and family for Christmas and birthdays.
I knew Target has a great deal on Wii games this week, buy 2 get one FREE. But not until I read Kingdom First Mom’s post did I find out about the $10/2 Target coupons to go with the great sale!
Many games are $14.99-19.99 with the more popular games being $19.99-39.99. I was able to pick up 6 games for a total of $53.xx which included tax and used 3 $10/2 coupons!
TIP- if you are planning on buying more than one set of 3, group like prices together so your FREE one will be the lowest price in the group of 3 and not just the cheapest ones purchased.
To add to that Big Lots will have a sale on Wii games starting Sunday for only $10 each.
Wal-Mart is having a pre-black Friday sale starting Saturday morning at 8am, Nov 7th. X-box 360 will be $199 and you will also get a $100 gift card with that!

Great deal but I've tried 6 ways till Sunday to get these coupons to print and no luck yet! Send me good mojo so I can get busy!
I have added a clickable link for the coupons now. Let me know if you have any problems printing from it.
Thanks for this post!! My kids don't play the Wii... they are too little, but I do!! I am going to ask DH to get me some early Christmas presents. Thanks and I love your blog!!
Hi! Just wanted to say I worried about purchasing six and them taking off the two cheapest and they didn't! They groups the three most expensive and took of the cheapest of those and then grouped the three least expensive and took the cheapest of those off. This is great because then you can use three $10/2 coupons ;)
I looked at the pre black friday at for Walmart but I didn't see any information about the $100 giftcard. I always like to have something with me to show just in case. Could you tell me more about this deal? Thanks!!!
here you go Linda

I did this deal yesterday, no troubles at all
My 'difficult' Target was the only place I could find certain games, so I gave it a shot and they'd only take two coupons. The Super Target took all three, but I didn't get the selection I wanted.
One thing I blogged about last night is the Amazon.com video game trade in. Some of the games that you can get for around $9 after coupons can be traded in to Amazon for $9-11 in Amazon.com gift cards. So if you don't want 6 games or you try some out and don't like them, you can trade them in for Amazon.com gift cards. I posted the higher value ones on my blog - http://cravingthesavings.com/?p=2861 - if anyone wants to do this. I was thinking if you only wanted three games, you could buy 6, but buy the three you want and buy three high value trade-in ones. Trade them in and get money back to use on Amazon.com and keep the three you wanted. Just an idea...
I dont know how you are going to stretch the budget til the end of the year, especially this year when the deals have not been that good. I remember more rebates going back into the budget least year and if i remember correct you even got a mailer for a free turkey. No luck this year!!
Inflation had really hit us hard with food this year. This year it seems that sale prices are what something used to cost regular price last year. Take hot dog bund for and example.
Thanks for blogging.

It is going to be hard for sure making it under budget this year. I do have a pretty good size freezer stock still and that will help but the fresh stuff will be a struggle.
You are right on current sales prices being what the regular cost of food was last year. It is crazy!
No free turkey coupon so far, but I am still holding out hope. At least Kroger just mailed me a coupon for a free cake mix, lol
We were just talking about the lack of turkey deals so far!!! Best I have seen is a free turkey when you spend $100 at Market Street. Not a deal IMO... Hoping for something great the last week or so.
Great Deal!! but i unable to open that url, i agree some time it won't work but if we can try after some time then it work fine.Sunday deal is great way to save your money.
